RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
This return policy applies to orders placed within the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom.
YOUR SATISFACTION MATTERS
At Nordic Essentials, we want you to be completely satisfied with your Nordic design experience. That's why we offer a hassle-free 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
INITIATING A RETURN
We don't provide free returning labels. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or not as described. To start a return, simply contact us at info@nordicessentials.uk with your order number, item details, photos (if applicable), and the reason for your return. We'll guide you through the process and provide a return shipping label or address. Please note that returns without prior authorisation will not be accepted. We do not accept packages returned using cash on delivery service. The return shipping cost must be your expense and all items must be insured for their full value. Return shipping charges are non-refundable.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label or address, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return questions via our contact form or at info@nordicessentials.uk
For UK customers, no additional import VAT will be applied on returned goods when using our approved return process. Please contact us before returning an item so we can provide the correct customs documentation to prevent unnecessary charges or delays.
DAMAGE AND ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon arrival. If an item is defective, damaged or incorrect contact us immediately explaining what is wrong with the item, also please attach photos. We'll work diligently to resolve the issue and ensure your satisfaction.
WRONG ORDER DELIVERED
If you have received an incorrect item, you must notify us by email (info@nordicessentials.uk) within 24 hours of receiving the delivery. Please note that failure to report the error within the specified time frame will result in no replacement or reshipment being offered.
Please be aware that the original shipping fees are non-refundable, and it is the customer's responsibility to cover the cost of return shipping. Refunds will be issued within 10 working days of our receipt of the returned package. Please note that institutional processing times may need to be taken into account.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Unfortunately custom-made or personalised items are also non-returnable. For safety reasons, electrical items like bulbs, gentle lighting fixtures (with glass elements), switches, and sockets cannot be returned.
EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
For the quickest exchange, simply return your unwanted item and place a separate order for the desired replacement. Once your return has arrived in our warehouse you can get a refund of the payment within 10 working days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account.
DIDN'T RECEIVE YOUR REFUND

Items you wish to return must be sent using a reliable, trackable, and insured method. The return shipping costs need to be pre-paid, and all items must be insured for their full value.
