We're here to help make your Nordic shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. Here are some frequently asked questions:

 

Q: Do you offer free shipping?

A: Yes, we offer free shipping within the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom on all orders, regardless of the amount spent.

Q: When will my order ship?

A: We aim to process most orders within 1-4 business days, if you order before 6 PM GMT, excluding weekends and holidays. Sometimes it can take 4 weeks for larger items like furniture, some light fixtures, mirrors and carpets that need extra care when we pack them. We'll send you a notification when your order ships.

Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A: Once your order is processed, shipping usually takes 8 -14 business days, Monday to Friday. Larger items might take a little longer, the clients will be notified about exact delivery time due to course. We use a pre-cleared VAT and customs process for UK orders, which means no surprise fees and minimal risk of customs delays.

Q: Where can I find my tracking number?

A: You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped. Please check your spam folder if you don't see it.

Q: How can I track my order?

A: You can track your order using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email. Visit our Track & Trace page and enter your tracking number to view the status of your delivery.

Q: Are there any import fees or taxes I need to pay?

A: For all UK orders, VAT and customs duties are pre-paid via our fulfilment partners. The price you see at checkout is the final price — no additional VAT or import charges will be payable upon delivery. We do not use Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) shipping for UK orders, as this can lead to unexpected charges and delivery refusals.
For Irish orders, VAT is included where applicable.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: We offer a 30-day hassle-free Refund Policy. Unused items in original condition can be returned for a full refund. The customer must ensure delivery of the returned product to the address we specified. We are not responsible for any return shipping costs. Items you wish to return must be sent using a reliable, trackable, and insured method. The return shipping costs need to be pre-paid, and all items must be insured for their full value. We do not accept packages returned using cash on delivery service. Return shipping charges are non-refundable. For UK returns, no additional import VAT will be charged when using our approved return process

Q: How do I initiate a return?

A: Contact customer service via contact form or email info@nordicessentials.uk with your order number, item details, photos (if applicable), and reason for return. They will guide you through the process.

Q: What items are not returnable?

A: Discounted sale items, custom-made items, electrical items, and hazardous materials cannot be returned.

Q: How long will it take to receive my refund?

A: Once your return is approved, you will receive a return shipping label and instructions. After receiving and approving your returned item, your refund  will be processed within 10 business days. It may take additional time for your bank to post the refund.

Q: I didn't receive my refund. What should I do?

A: If you haven't received your refund within 15 business days of approval, contact customer service at info@nordicessentials.uk.

Q: Why is shipping slower than domestic retailers?

A: We offer free shipping within the  Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom, which can result in slightly longer delivery times due to global sourcing. 

Q: Are there any transaction fees?

A: A 4% transaction fee is charged by the payment processor and cannot be refunded in the event of a return.

Q: What if my product is damaged upon arrival?

A: Immediately contact us with photos at info@nordicessentials.uk. We will work to resolve the issue.
